New Church Van Needed
As you may know, our van plays an important role in transporting church members for various activities. Members are picked up on Sundays and Wednesdays so they can participate with us, our teens are driven around the Detroit area so they can participate in the Metro Detroit Youth Chorus, Team Honduras is driven to the airport when they make their annual trip, and more.

Our current van is need of several costly repairs. It is also old enough that it doesn’t have stability and roll over controls that newer large passenger vans have, making our van more dangerous than newer model

The youth group would love to be able to use the van for its many trips to Shults-Lewis, Fallfest, Winterfest, and more. In recent years, however, vans must be rented for these trips because ours isn’t reliable. Instead of investing in the repair of the current van, and to get a more safe and reliable vehicle for church use, we would like to find and purchase a newer, used, 15 passenger van. We are especially interested in newer Chevy models (Express 1500 or Express 3500) because they come with stability and roll over controls.

We would like to put out a plea for help. If you know of anyone who could help us find and purchase a newer van, at a good price, please contact Dave Bartley or Johnny Strasser.

Food Pantry Needs                           Don’t forget to bring in items to stock our food pantry! In the last few months, our pantry has provided a great service to many people. Talk to Mary Nichols for more information.

SCRIP for Rochester College         Don't to buy your SCRIP from Diane Storm after Sunday's worship! This is such an easy way to support Rochester College. Cards are available for restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, movie theatres, and more.

AA Meetings at Heritage                An Alcoholics Anonymous group, "Chance For Recovery," meets here at Heritage every Monday for a closed meeting. The last Monday of each month is an open meeting, which includes a guest speaker. All meetings begin at 6:00pm. For more information, contact Darrel Brown or the AA hotline at 877.337.0611

Art for A Cause Ongoing Fundraiser                                               We are involved in an ongoing fundraiser will Art for A Cause here in Clawson. Anyone who wants to volunteer can work with them on Monday nights, and they pay minimum wage back as a donation to the church. So far this has helped us to raise money for Honduras and S.O.S. Heritage is responsible for staffing God's Helping Hands to do sorting of donations and prepare for business on Mondays.  We need as many people there as possible at 6:30.   We plan on starting at 6:30, but if you can't come until later, that's fine.  Come join us for some fun and fellowship while also helping others.   See http://www.ghhmichigan.org/
